This years annual
BTA
retreat was held on the Ruby Princess February 18th through the 25th. The 7 day Mexican Riveria cruise embarked from San Pedro Port Saturday around 5pm. The bad weather stayed with us for a day with rougher than normal seas for the first day out to sea. After 2 days at sea we docked at Puerto Valarta. The weather was great for our Sea Safari Tour that took us down the coast for horseback riding, waterfalls, remote villages and a great buffet by the sea. Our stop at Mazatlan was spent shopping in the Golden Zone, ending with a nice massage before heading back to the ship. Once tendered in Cabo San Lucas we shopped around the marina and downtown.
The Ruby Princess is almost identical to the Crowne Princess which we had sailed on the 2 previous years. Dining was great as always and the new specialty restaurant "Share by Curtis Stone" was excellent. The entertainment was good, especially the Fashion Show starring our good friend Dimi. Princees is not doing the Mexican Cruise next year during this time frame , so we will be cruising with Carnival again.
