Day 7 Central Coast
After waking up at the Hampton Hotel in Morgan Hill we ate waffles and eggs the the place at the hotel.
We drove down the coast highway for 3 hours stopping to see the elephant seals, look for moonstones, and eat lunch before going to our motel. We went to Great Papa's in Cambria for dinner.

Day 6 Day 8
In San Simeon there is a place to see the elephant seals. In the summer there are only a few of the male teenagers. We only spotted a couple of big adults. There were squirrels running around everywhere. We also stopped at the San Semeon Pier to look for sea otters but didn't see any.

We next went to Moonstone Beach by Shamel park. The water was too cold to swim so we looked for moonstones. We found 1 moonstone and a bunch of other nice stones. There was also a lot of seaweed on the beach.

We drove to Cayucos because that is where our motel was. It wasn't ready so we walked across the street to eat at the Sea Chanty. I had fish & Chips for the first time. It was really good. I also tried Papa's onion rings which were good . We got dressed when our room was ready and went to Great Papa's for dinner. I played on the tablet while they all talked. Pat made a nice dinner and strawberry cake.
